-Lindi Ortega is picking up speed and acclaim. On October 8, she will release her third album entitled Tin Star on Last Gang Records. Lindi has released an album a year since her debut called Little Red Boots in 2011. This album is said to be her move from Toronto to Nashville.
-Hannah Georgas has booked more tour dates, and since I just missed her at Osheaga in Montreal, I am siked to hear it. The closest date to Windsor/Detroit is Oct 30 in London at the Aeolian Hall, and she will continue through Ontario until the end of November.
-The lead singer of The Dears, Murray Lightburn, is releasing a solo album under his own name. He said it was a quite the challenge going alone. The album is out tomorrow, and is entitled MASS:LIGHT. The Dears plan to start writing together again in 2014.

CANROCK NEWS:
-Islands 5th studio album will be released on September 17 on Manqué Music, and they will begin touring immediately after the release. They will be in Toronto on October 10 and Ferndale on October 11.
-Arcade Fire has confirmed the"Reflektor" graffiti graphic appearing in random locations is an advertisement for their upcoming release. The graphic said “reflecktor” and hinted something band-related will go down September 9 at 9 p.m. It even happened before a few of the large acts took the stage at Osheaga in Montreal (which my bro pointed out).
-Said the Whale fans have reason to pre-order the new album entitled “hawaiii,” intentionally misspelled with an extra i. The deluxe edition comes with a beach ball and sunglasses, along with a karaoke DVD!
-Young Galaxy will be releasing a deluxe version of Ultramarine on September 24. It will be double-disc release; the second disc containing B-sides, remixes and alternate edits. Contributing remixers include Doldrums, Sally Shapiro and Peaking Lights.

*Pre-recorded show... Sorry for the missing info
