-Mac Demarco is releasing a new cassette tape entitled Live & Acoustic Vol 1. The tracks on this album showcase his softer side, his acoustic side. They were all recorded during a release party for The Fader. There is a very limited amount of cassettes available, so to get your hands on one, visit capturedtracks.com
-The Edmonton band, Wet Secrets, were back in the studio in July and will be releasing a new album entitled Free Candy in February. On this third album, the five piece now includes Paul Arnusch and Emma Frazier.
-The Darcys will be heading to some Ontario schools this month to run free workshops for students to draw attention to underfunded music programs. They called it “Play in School” and feel is is a great way to connect to and inspire their younger fans.
